Henry Camosse, Director – New England Concrete Manufacturers’ Association
As in many trades today, there is a shortage of qualified hardscape installers in the field. The New England Concrete Manufacturing Association is working to institute best practices of the hardscaping industry into the current Education Framework of MA Vocational Schools by developing a comprehensive curriculum to train students to acquire meaningful skills sought by employers. We will be providing an overview of what the subject matter could be, and be looking for ideas and suggestions from the participants. We will review our planned summer training program for CTE instructors in the summer of 2018 interested in incorporating this curriculum in their programs.
